Prophecy, Part II

OOC: Moon's most likely coughing her brains out XD

IC: Talon took a bit of the poultice and rushed off to Moon.

"ok lets get the rest of it to the tribe who needs it the most" rose told acorn swiftly

Acorn didn't hear Rose. She followed Talon to Moon and sat down beside her.

ooc: XD no! her brains needa stay slimy.. if they not slimy then.. *sniffle*

occ:dont think of that acorn

OOC: Oh, they slimy. They just being coughed out XD

IC: Moon coughed less, and felt like her chest was becoming free of pain. She wasn't healed yet, and said it would probably take a few days of that herb to fully cure the illness.

Black Cloud rushed over to Acorn. "They're sick? Acorn, back off." She stood between Acorn, and Talon and Moon.

Acorn took a step back. "But.. i'm seeing if Moon is okay!" she explained, "she's not going to be sick anymore!"

"I just don't want you being sick!" Acorn's mother was persistent. A hiss rang in Acorn's ear. You are her kit by choice, not by blood. So, when the battle comes...whose ally will you become...? said the black tom, reminding her of the Prophecy. Remember who your allies are.
"You have to be well enough for..." Black Cloud let the rest of the sentece drift, biting her lip in regret.

Acorn looked at Black Cloud with shock. Her eyes become tiny slits. I'm not... your kit.. she took a step back. You're not my mother.. her tail lashed and she shook with worry and fear. She narrowed her eyes at Black Cloud. She ran around her and stood in front of Moon. "You aren't my mother! You'll never be my mother!" she snapped aloud. Her claws unsheathed, and her fur bristled. Her face was angered and she stared at Black Cloud. "Moon is my mother- not you!"

OOC: O.o

IC: Black Cloud hissed and pounced on Acorn. "Fool! You think she'll actually live with all that poison we put in her food? You have to come with me if you want to live-and your mate is welcome to come."

Acorn's eyes widened. "You!?" her back claws raked Black Cloud's belly and she wriggled free from her grasp. "You... p- poisoned the food!?" she shuddered, then leapt onto Black Cloud's back, and tried to open her jaws wide and dig into the back of her neck.

Black Cloud rolled over, and managed to get free. Scratching Rose's muzzle, she hissed. "Well, I didn't actually do it, they did." She flicked her tail towards a group of fierce cats entering camp. "Thanks to you for letting your guard down for me, it was a great way to sneak my friends in. Now you can come back to us-or we can kill every cat here instead and run our own Tribe."

Acorn's fur bristled. "Don't touch my sister!" she hissed. She took a step back. "I will never go with you. And even if you do take over, this tribe is better than yours will ever be!" she snapped, and she lashed out at Black Cloud, claws outstretched, and jaws open wide.

Black Cloud stepped back a hew pawsteps. What...happened to me? My own daughter hates me? They said it'd be different-that she'd join us, she thought.

Acorn stopped and looked at Black Cloud. Why was she.. stopping? Acorn grew confused.

"Black Cloud, why are you not attacking her?" a booming voice asked. A muscular, brown tabby tom stepped up to face her. "She is not joining us, so kill her."
But Black Cloud was frozen. She hated being torn in two, or making a hard choice. "I never signed up for this," she mumbled.

Acorn looked at the tom. Was he ordering Black Cloud around? Was he the one behind all this? She leapt at him and pinned him to the ground. It was very difficult because of his strength and size (and weight XD).

Black Cloud growled and pounced on Acorn defensively. She has respect for her "leader", but was scared of choosing between him and her daughter. The daughter she gave up.

"Rose, help Acorn!" Moon yowled with a hoarse voice.

Acorn's eyes flashed. She stared at Black Cloud. She raked her with her back legs.

occ:sorry was gone for a week

ic:rose shivered in pain and started to help acorn with the leader tearing with claws and teeth at him.

Black Cloud took them both on, hesitant. She let in a few attacks now and then-she deserved them. She didn't want to harm her kit...

"how could you do this to your own kit"rose hissed at her while scratching her and bitting her.

"I have to." Black Cloud said, standing as still as she could while she was being attacked, not making a single defense move.

"No you don't," Acorn meowed, "you dont have to listen to him!"

"He might kill me."
The big tom growled. "Finish her off and I won't!"

"He can't kill you if he's dead!" Acorn yowled, digging her fangs into the tom's side.
