Prophecy, Part II

A faint, jet black cat was seen sitting on a rock. Only Rose and Acorn were able to see it. Its tail was moving oddly, as if pointing to something, but there was nothing there.

rose padded over to acorn "do you see that" rose said while pointing at the black cat.

The faded cat blinked and swished his tail. He pointed it at Rose, and then at the empty spot again. A few sick Cave-guards walked by him, and they only saw a rock. One stared at Rose and Acorn for a moment, wondering what they were looking at, and walked on. The faded cat still sat.

Acorn tried to concentrate. She stepped forward. "I do see it, Rose.." She whispered quietly. "It's that cat.. from our dream." She looked around but failed to see what the tom was trying to show them. She looked at Rose. "Do you know what he's trying to show us?"

"no but lets go see what he's pointing at or showing us and rose ran forward to the weird cat.

When Rose and Acorn got close enough to touch him, he faded away. One last flick of his tail pointed downwards, and he was gone. Under him was the rock, a simple, small boulder in the camp with little value unless it was a warm, sunny day in which cats would lay on it. Little patches of grass grew around it, suggesting there was more underneath, being sheltered from rain and snow.

rose noticed the grass and tryed to move the rock but it was to hard for just her to move it "acorn help me move this rock" rose told her ergently.

The rock moved just enough that the two she-cats caught a glimpse of a small flower, a beautiful blue and violet.

rose looked at acorn then looked back to the flower "how could a flower live under a rock?" rose asked confused.

The boulder set back down to its original place, and the flower disappeared from view. A sweet smell rose for a moment from the flower, but faded as it was once again settled under the rock.

rose's mouth watered and lifted the rock again thinking to pull the flower from the grown.

The rock, still, was too heavy. More than one cat was needed to lift it, and maybe a third to grab the flower.

"acorn help me" rose hissed through her teeth.

Acorn pushed the rock with Rose yet again. Will this flower help them? she wondered.

rose quickly grabed the flowere and bit the stem it tasted delishous but knew that this might help the clan so she didnt.

Acorn helped pull the flower. Sweat poured down from her forehead. Which was odd. They probably needed another to help them.

Suddenly, a cat lifted the boulder higher. In the shadow, it looked like the cat from their dreams, until a small patch of sun touched his pelt. It was Talon.

occ:um moonn what do we do with the flower

ic:rose set the flower down and noded to talon "acorn put the bolder down and thank you talon"

ooc: o3o uh.. read my post.. im not holdin the boulder anymore x.x

OOC: um...oh! I know!

The ghostly cat appeared once more beside Talon. He walked up to the flower and bit at the three leaves connected to it, but went through them (being a spirit).

rose nodded and started biting the leaves off and crushing them up to make a mixture "talon are you strong enough to eat a little bit of this or can you wait?" rose asked him

OOC: Not what I was getting at, because it'd be a very small poultice, but whatever.

IC: Talon sniffed it and took a step back. "It smells weird...but I think we ought to give it to Moon first. I'll get her if you can find more of...whatever this is, if it works."

"ok but ill try chewing the stem also" rose said imediatly starting.

Acorn helped Rose. If this helped their Tribe, she was up for it. It smelled, and tasted odd. But oh, well. Stay strong, Moon! she thought helplessly.
