"Everyone said our leaving was because of Upwalkers coming towards us." Moon said. "Lucky for us, there aren't any in the mountains."

"whats an upwalker" rose asked moon tilting her head.

Acorn looked at Rose. "Your imagining." She said to Rose about the animal. Then she jerked her head towards her mom and bared her teeth. "WHAT!? Let me at those Upwalkers! I'll show em' what Acorn from Tree can do to them and their furless body!" Then she asked a question to her mother, "Do you know why Upwalkers have no fur? They are defenseless! I never seen one before, but the stories cats've told me, they sound weak and tiny."

"Upwalkers kits are weak and tiny. The regular ones are big and will grab a cat! Some are nice, but many more are ruthless. They tore up some of our home here." Moon said. "They have monsters that do terrible things! And dogs!" Moon growled as she saw the first dog ever since she was a kit.

Acorn blinked. "Aren't monsters those huge shiny things that smell horrible? And aren't dogs those animals that are related to the wolf?" Noticing that she was bragging in a way, she stopped and waited for a reply.

"i think so owl" rose said to her apprentice.

lol that was acorn xD sorry ive been so lazy that i dont wanna log outta owl (cus yea.. he's a guy and i feel awesome knowing that xD)

"Yes..." Moon said. "My father was hit by a monster. He had a bad leg for the rest of his life, but he lived."

er.. what was her fathers name? >:3

Acorn leaned on Moon. "Aww, i'm sorry. Could he walk?"

IC: "He had a limp, but yes, he could walk." Moon said.

"do you think we could be seeing whats happening to your father right now" rose asked.

Moon padded over to her family-her parents, her brothers, and herself. She looked at them, trying to remember when the accident happened. "It won't happen for a while. A few days, maybe."

Acorn watched Moon closely. "Well, it's getting late.. and i'm getting tired (even though cats are nocturnal)."

"I know where he was injured." Moon said. "Maybe, since this is a memory, I can speed up time to the morning he left to hunt with his friend."

"mabey" rose said to moon


occ: "mooooonnnnnn acornnnnnnnnnnnn why didnt you tell me acorn was adopted "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo" xd.

Moon walked off, out of the camp. She knew where the monster had hit him-for the most part. She wasn't 100% sure, but knew the general location. She led the cats to a monster-path and concentrated. The sun sped by, and set. The moon flew by and set. And the process repeated twice more. Moon stopped around sun-high the third day. It was the day her father was hit, and not too long before.

"ok im not used to this" rose yawned "but i wish this could happen when were awake" she laghed.

"He's coming!" Moon said. The tom came into view, white as snow with gray blotches. He saw a squirrel, and missed the catch. He ran for it, and when he reached the monster-path, a monster roared by and hit him.

Acorn quickly shut her eyes and hid behind Moon. "Stop! Moon! STOP!" Tears poured from her eyes and she shuddered. "Please... I can't take it."

rose stoped laughing and froze solid (you coulddnt move her if you wanted to shes like a rock)

Acorn shoved her face in Moon's pelt. "It's horrible, Mom! It's horrible!"

"It's not that bad." Moon assured her. "He was just hit in the leg. It's not too bad, he just has a track on him and a little blood. It's alright. Look, cats are already taking him back home."

"But.. it's horrible!" She cried, tears still streaming down her face. Acorn looked at the cats guiding the injured one back. She shoved her face back in Moon's pelt. "It's just horrilbe.."
