IC: "It's alright." Moon said. "You want to know something? He was glad to become an elder early. He always loved telling stories. He was like an elder, laying around and skipping patrols while he plated with the kits...He was proud of his accident."

"wow" rose said "thats lucky"

"How can you be proud of dying?" Acorn turned over so her belly was facing the sky. But he's with them.. She peered closely at the sky.

"acorn he didnt die right then he just became an elder" rose pointed out.

"He was proud to die, though." Moon said. "He was able to see his friends and family of old again."

"thats cool" rose said looking at her mother

Moon nodded. "He is with the Tribe of Endless Hunting now."

"yes i wish i could have meet my grandfather before he left though" rose said looking down.

Whats it like, (Moon's father's name)? Are you happy? Do you wish to come back? Acorn thought to him, deep in thought.

"You'll meet him someday." Moon said. "Whether it's in a dream or when you join the Tribe of Endless Hunting, you'll meet him."

"ok mom" rose said to her mother and to herself "i hope its soon in a dream"
