"Rest Schmest. I need to help you. " He mewed lovingly (Sounds wrong i know...) and gave her a lick between the ears

"Swift, I..." Moon began. "I made a promise long ago to watch over you, and I intend to do it. Rest!" She licked him and laid down.

Swift made a ( emoticon XD) and then laid down besides her.

Moon purred softly and put him to sleep. She thought of her old friend. He looks so much like her mate...she thought. No wonder I feel weird around him after I told him of the promise. He's my dead friend's kit. My friend that I promised would take care of her kit should she and her mate die. He survived the massacre at the lake...but at the cost of their lives.
