Pebble's Training

Moon waited patiently for Pebble to arrive from her den to learn hunting.

Pebble places her nose to the ground, and walks towards Moon. "I am ready to become a prey hunter cat, and a true member of this tribe."

"Good. We'll start by showing you around the territory, okay?" Moon asked, starting to walk.

OOC: Man, you seriously like this site already huh?

Pebble, perhaps not quite as ready she believed herself to be, nodded. "Let's Go!"

OOC: Love it

OOC: YAY!!!!!!

IC: Moon spotted a mouse and went and crouched by a rock. She kept Pebble back with her tail. A hawk came and grabbed the mouse, and Moon jumped onto the hawk and killed it. "Then we get the mouse and the hawk!"

Pebble walks around the kill. "I usually cut its throat, but this lets more of the meat stay intact." She sniffs it.

"That's interesting. How did you not get killed by a hawk?" Moon asked. "Kits are usually eaten by hawks, or are you talking about the mouse?"

Pebble looked at her paws. "I usually jump on the hawk from above. When it lands, I'm in a tree, and...." Her voice trails off.

"So, you used to kill hawks!?" Moon asked. "You're troublesome, just like Acorn."

If cats could blush, Pebble would have. "Well, a few times, I mean, it wasn't really all that great. I didn't mean to brag...."

"No problem." Moon said. "Just be careful-and remember to look up!"

"If that's what it does to a mouse, I'd hate to see what it would do to a cat."

"One choked Acorn once." Moon said. "Almost killed her. Now, back to training. What can you smell?" she asked, stopping.
