pine from a tree popped out then rolled to her tummy

IC: Moon made sure the kit was okay before purring. "Acorn, you have a daughter!"

Acorn looked at the small kit and licked her. "A daughter!" She repeated, purring contently. "She's adorable.." She looked at Moon and Acorn's eyes glinted with happiness. "This is exciting for me!" Not noticing where Talon was, she looked around. "But.. where's Talon at?" Acorn nudged the small kit closer to herself and she lay her head on her paws and blinked out some exaustion. "I'm a little tired, though.."

"Talon's outside." Moon said, pushing leaves towards Acorn. "Eat these and I'll let him in. I just want to make sure you and the kit are alright."

Acorn obediently ate the leaves and set her head back down. She sighed and looked at the kit and licked it again. Odd. This cat is calico. Neither I or Talon are calico. How interesting!

Moon poked her head out of the den, and went back in by Acorn. Talon rushed into the nursery, purring instantly at the site of his family. He laid down by Acorn and the kit. "Is it a she-cat?"

"Uh huh.." Acorn replied softly. "It's odd that she doesn't much resemble us. She's calico. It's so beautiful."

Talon purred happily. "What should we name her?"

ic:rose ran in with a hawk "are you alright what is it?" and rose droped the hawk at acorns feet.

Talon smiled. "It's a she-cat."

"awsome im an aunt" rose said nussling the kit as if it were her own.

Talon lightly nudged the kit to Acorn's belly to suckle.

Acorn looked from Rose to Talon. "I don't know.." She admitted softly, looking at her.

ic:"your so lucky acorn" rose said admirling.

Talon smiled. "Look outside-kits in the Tribe are usually named for something their mother sees."

Acorn gazed up, and outside the Nursery. "I see..." Suddenly, a pine dropped from a nearby tree. "Pine," she mewed, "Pine from a Tree." She looked down at the calico. The name suited her. Like her mother, the last part of her name was 'from a tree'. (except hers doesnt have an 'a' in it XD)
