Training (Gray, Rose)

Mist waited for her two newest to-bes to join her for training.

Gray padded up to Mist, filled with excitement and a happy grin on his face, "Hey, Mist!" He called, "What are we doing today?" He asked, curious to know how training would start.

hi rose said right behind gray.

"What are you two training to be?" Mist asked them.

OOC: lol, I forgot.

im training to be a prey-hunter. said rose.

"I'm training to be a Cave-Guard!" He meowed proudly as he stood up straight and let his tail raise.

"Alright then. Well, first of all, Cave-guards protect the cave and watch for danger on hunting patrols. Prey-hunters hunt for the Tribe by going on hunting patrols. Do you follow me so far?" She asked.

OOC: Sorry I haven't posted for so long. I'll make sure to go on more.

"Yes," He meowed confidently as he waited for more information on his role in the Clan.

"That's good. Also, when you're outside of the cave, it's best to coat yourself in mud. We use it as camoflaudge and protection against the harsh wind." She meowed, pointing to a puddle of it with her tail. She was already covered with it from an earlier hunting patrol. "Go ahead."

Gray did what Mist instructed and rolled around in the mud until he was fully covered.

rose did the same thing and then jumped up ready to learn more.

"Now Gray, when you're guarding the cave, and protecting prey-hunters on hunting trips, you need to be on lookout." Mist began, twitching her whiskers. "You want to keep an eye out for dangers, like birds in the sky or enemies on foot. If you ever see anything, make sure to alrert the others. You should also keep an eye out for your Tribe mates, in case they're injured or being chased."

"Right!" Gray replied, he was already searching for enemies, although he knew that he probably wouldn't see any.

rose wated her turn but looking at what gray was doing a laughing under her breath.

Gray looked over at Rose wondering what she was thinking before he looked back at Mist, "So, Mist, what's next?" He asked as his tail moved slowly from side to side on the ground.

rose noticed gray look at her adn turned her head quickly so that hhe wouldnt see laughing.

OOC: Mist, can we continue our training?

"Okay, since we can count on Gray to warn us of trouble, I'll start your training, Rose." Mist meowed, glancing at Gray to make sure he was still keeping look-out. "You need to learn how to hunt. First thing you should know is that you shouldn't try to catch smaller prey like mice. You should wait to see if bigger prey like a hawk or falcon will come by and try to snatch the mouse. When if comes down, you go for the bird!" She mewed excitedly, pumping up this training session.

"Now, we'll go out and try to catch something. Gray, come with us please, we'll need you to keep a watch out." She meowed to her to-bes. "Let's set off, shall we?" She started to pad away.

rose padded after her come on slow poke rose teased gray.

"Coming!" Gray meowed gleefully as he followed the two she-cats out, making sure to watch out for danger.

Padding along, Mist spotted a mouse beyond a rock. She quickly leaped into the shadows, the to-bes following. "Rose," She hissed, facing her in the shadows, "when you see a bird come by to try and snatch that mouse, I want you to leap on it and bite it's neck. Can you do that?"

rose shuke her head in agrement and wated for a halk or eagle.......(20 min later) all of a suden a huge eagle swoop down rose jumed just in time adn caught it with the mouse then turned to see mists ecprestion.

"Very well done!" Mist purred, happy with Rose's catch. "Do you two get the hang of how to do this?" She asked them, walking over to Rose's catch.
