Just a Dream...

Moon lay down by a pool of water, filled with stars. She lay next to a gray cat with dark gray flecks and a dark gray stripe down his back. Moon's eyes were filled with sadness, and the tom couldn't cheer her up.

Feather lye next to Moon .she tossed and turned.Did she dare wake her?

Moon laid her head on her paws, she wasn't being cheered up. It's just a dream. she thought. But can't I get what I really want here? In my dreams?

Moon felt something brush against her. She woke up to see Feather. Moon got up. "Sorry, Feather." she apologized. Not waiting for an answer, she went outside the den and went back to sleep.

Feathers ears went back in a confused way.She silently and secretly watched Moon.

Moon walked over to the tom and lay down. "I can't. You know that...I'm sorry." she said very softly. "I wish I could."

Feather listened carefully as Moon spoke in her sleep.

Moon shut her mouth and fell into a deep sleep (not talking in my sleep anymore XP)

She lay by the tom still, hoping no one would enter the Dream Territory and catch her. "I-you know I can't. I'd love to, but it's just that..." Moon said very softly (only in dream XP), shying away from him.

Feather watched her,trying to interpret something.

The tom nudged her. Moon looked at him. "I'm so sorry, but this the things have to be right now." she said even softer. She laid her head by his paws and so did he.

Feather accidently nudged Moon as she got closer to her.

Moon look around, and saw nothing. "Who...?" Moon shook her head and laid her head back by the tom's.

Moon rolled over drowsily.

Feather's ear twitched in confusion.

OOC: Feel free to go into the Dream Territory and interrupt us

IC: The tom licked Moon's ear and whispered something to her. Moon whispered something back...

The curiousity was overcoming Feather.She joined Moons dream,But just silently watched.

OOC: The talking will get louder for you now, and it will as you get closer.

IC: "What about...if it's just in your dreams?" the tom asked. "No." Moon said sadly. "It could really affect us. I could really-" "But you're not sure are you?" he butt in. Moon shook her head. "No...I'm not sure."

Feather got closer to them.

"Look, I'd love to, Stone, but I-I can't." Moon said. "My heart's torn in two." she said, pressing closer to him. He tried cheering her up again.

Feather got even closer.Her hearts torn in two?she thought.

"No one would know." Stone said. "You are perfect at keeping your dreams isolated." "Yes, but what if..." Moon didn't finish. She whispered to him. "Then hide it." he said. "I know someone who did that once." Moon shed a tear. "I just...I want both, but can only have one path. I found myself in a fork in the path, and I can't decide which way to go."

what?Feather thought.

"Stone, I..." Moon couldn't find the words. "If I had to choose now, I couldn't. If I had a different place, I'd choose this path. There isn't another answer. Mist will banish me if she finds out and..." Mon almost began to cry. "Don't cry, Moon." Stone said. "You know it bothers us both. I can't cheer you up, and I'm making it worse." he said sadly. "No, you're not." Moon said. "It's just I'm being pressed with so many duties. I have to choose my path, and it will affect my To-be so much and m life as well and..."

How could it effect me?what is she talking about? Feather thought.

"Please, will you think about it?" Stone asked. "Yes." Moon said. "I always do." She got up and walked away, fading.

She woke up to see Feather beside her, sleeping. "What are you doing?" Moon asked, frightened and worried.

Feather stared at Moon,wide eyed.''How will it effect me?What were you talking about?''
Feather asked.Moon could see the worriness in Feathers ice blue eyes.

Moon's eyes widened. "You spied on me!?" she yelled. She shook her head and stalked off to the Cave of Pointed Stones.
